There was a time when MTV played an extreme amount of music videos. Here's a positive music video, Wear Sunscreen, narrated by Baz Luhrmann but originally written by Mary Schmich, of the Chicago Tribune, as a column in 1997 entitled, 'Advice, like youth, probably just wasted on the young'). This video was actually played quite frequently back in 1999. The now massive billion dollar Paramount/Viacom had no problems promoting positive thoughts back then .... a lot changes in ten years.
